Blogger Bazaar

Okayyyyy- so sorry guys that this post is SUPER late. I've been really backed up on school, especially because I'm graduating in May and have been super busy with my art show that just ended today. Whew.

OMG. The Blogger Bazaar event was beyond amazing. It felt so hipster, and I felt so cool ahahaha. It was my first "blogger" event that I've attended too, and I think my standards probably set real high after this event for any other future events that I may attend to. I met wonderful people.. people I've been looking up to, people who inspire me, and just people I see normally through a computer screen or a cell phone screen but actually met them in person!

For those of you who don't know what Blogger Bazaar was, it was an event where bloggers get their unworn or unused items (clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry, etc.) and they put it up for sale. It's pretty much like a huge garage sale, except this event was for such a good cause. There was a $1 entrance fee, but all that money went into a good cause. And on top of that, the bloggers offered 50% of their proceeds to a charity of their choice. It was a successful event, and the fact that it went to charity or donations was even more amazing. I got to meet Aimee Song from Song of Style, Chriselle Lim from The Chriselle Factor, Wendy from Wendy's Lookbook, Heart from Thatsheart on Youtube, and so many other bloggers. It was a real blessing to meet these ladies face-to-face.. it felt like seeing your role model right in front of you. As you guys may or may not know, I really want to pursue my dream to be somewhere in the fashion field (I'm not really sure where), also pursuing illustration at the same time.. and just to meet these ladies who do this for a living was a dream come true.

Overall, the event was amazing. The food was bomb-diggity, the music was good, I met wonderful people, and it was just good vibes all around. I really can't wait for another one of these soon!
