Printed Trousers.

Hi everyone (: so here's yesterday's quick OOTD! It was pretty gloomy out here in SoCal, so I decided to layer up! You guys know I LOVE my chambray top, so obviously I reached for that in the morning. I wanted to keep it simple, with a hint of pop, so I kept everything neutral except for these awesome printed 'baroque' style trousers I got on sale at Zara. These pants are extremely warm and I love that they're highwaisted, so that I could tuck in my shirt in the front a little bit for an extra pick up. I guess the only thing I don't like about these pants is that they're kinda thick, so they tend to make my legs look hugeee! But nonetheless, I absolutely adore printed pants, especially ones with gold glitter seams (: hope you guys are having a blessed week!

I noticed it's starting to get a bit warmer here now. I guess Spring is finally coming! I can't wait to start incorporating color into my wardrobe. I normally like to wear black, white, and anything neutral, but it's always fun to add a splash of color! I am thinking of doing a video on Spring trends, or a Spring lookbook, or maybe even a Winter to Spring transition video.

Like my moostache?

Hello loves! I hope you guys enjoyed your weekend! It's Monday- back on the grind. So this is what I wore yesterday. I decided to go with my favorite- all black everything. I've been really loving my pleather baseball cap! It just adds a nice oomph to an outfit. & when I do wear all black, I like to mix up different materials since it's all one color- it's good to add more textures so that even tho it may be the same color, there's different textures to make your outfit a little less bland.

Layers are my BFF!

Sorry I only have one outfit picture today ): I totally forgot to remind my boyfriend to bring his camera.. so hopefully a cellphone pic will do!

Layers are seriously my BFF. They save me from the cold weather, AND they're an awesome fashion statement. I love wearing layers because it gives me a chance to mix and match patterns, and just to explore new variations of knits, cardigans, or anything I have in my closet. It's kind of like mixing a new cocktail. You mix good stuff together, hoping that you come up with the yummiest drink. Same thing goes for layering. You can explore and experiment with different patterns and textures you like with other patterns and textures. As you guys know, Spring is justttt around the corner, and I guess today's outfit is kind of like a transition piece.. (or possibly I'm already prepping for the Spring)

So go into your closet and explore all the amazing pieces you have! You don't know what amazing outfit you're gonna come up with just by exploring with different patterned pieces! Layering can help you amp up any outfit, and it can bring personality and style to your wardrobe! So maybe next time, instead of wearing a huge thick sweater (trust me- I have my days too), try mixing flannels or shirts, or even jackets together to make a great combination! Be creative & unique!
